Affirm~ Dream Weaving
"Affirmations are like seed planted in soil. Poor soil, poor growth. Rich soil, abundant growth. The more you choose to think thoughts that make you feel good, the quicker the affirmations work."~ Louise Hay
An affirmation is a conscious thought process of choosing only healthy balanced, positive thoughts and sentences to uplift your day and life. Taking even just five minutes a day to say a few of these will do your life a world of wonder.
Why do affirmations work? Basically an affirmation is a way to rewire your subconscious mind which is in control of most of our thoughts. Most of us these days do not have a super high vibin' subconscious mind set, BUT we can build one using these affirmations.
Everybody has different affirmations they say to themselves. It is always important to have an intention behind your affirmation; the universe always responds to the reasoning behind things. Coming from a place of truth, rather than egotistical gain will always achieve greater success. Here are a few steps to creating successful affirmations that actually work:
~Get clear on what you want from life: love, abundance, a healthy relationship, travel, self love...ect.
~Take time everyday(morning works for me) to write down, and speak OUT LOUD these goals.
~If you want to radiate love: "I am a radiate being who shines light upon all."
~ If you want to stay focussed: "I am focussed and aware of my surroundings at all times."
~Self Love: "I love myself deeply, purely and wholesomely every second of each moment, I am beautiful."
~Money/Abundance: "The universe provides absolutely everything I need, always. I am constantly surrounded and cradled in abundance."
~You probably get the point; It is about stating that you ALREADY have or ARE that in which you want, which is most likely true anyways. But as we affirm, and choose to think thoughts that are aligned with what we want, WE SEE it in our lives. Rather than thinking thoughts like "Oh I am so broke, I can never have anything I want," or "I will never have a beautiful relationship because I don't deserve anyone." These are technically 'affirmations' as well, but obviously not what we want.
It has been scientifically proven that our outside worlds reflects our inside world, based on our thoughts. A little fun game to play is to pick something super random, like a PINK FEATHER, and think about it at least 3 times a day, for a week or so and it WILL start showing up. In the weirdest places. This is an example that our external reality mirrors the internal.
An affirmation is a way of using this ancient knowledge to fulfill our dreams and become the person we need to be in order for ourselves and Mother Earth to thrive.
